Thank you.
This year’s Love Is Love Gala was rooted in a simple idea—one that echoes Dan Savage’s reminder that when things feel heavy, when the world asks us to shrink or disappear, we cry, we rage… and then we dance, because it is the dance we are fighting for.
And that is exactly what our community did.
Together we filled every seat in the ballroom, surpassed our fundraising goal, honored incredible leaders in our community, and created a night that reminded us why gathering like this matters. The Love Is Love Gala exists to celebrate, uplift, and sustain the spaces that allow LGBTQ+ people and our allies to find connection, care, and belonging.
We want to offer our deepest gratitude to every single person who made this night possible.
To our volunteers, who worked behind the scenes and throughout the evening to make everything run smoothly.
To our award recipients, whose leadership and commitment to our community inspire all of us.
To our sponsors, whose generosity helps make our programs and events possible throughout the year.
To every person who attended, donated, and celebrated with us—your presence and support are what sustain this work.
A special thank you to People’s Light for opening their doors and providing such a beautiful, welcoming, and affirming space for our community to gather.
And to our incredible performers, Trixy Valentine and Roxanne Rohls, thank you for bringing the joy, artistry, and energy that reminded us all why celebration is such an important part of resistance and care.
We are also grateful to the many local businesses who contributed to our Gatherings for Good experiences, helping ensure that the impact of the night continues long after the gala ends.
This is what it looks like when a community shows up for one another.
We cry.
We rage.
And then—we dance.
And together, we keep building the spaces that make belonging possible.
